Detailed Responsibilities

The Junior Service Desk Associate will provide customer support and operational assistance for mobile and fixed-line users.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide operational customer service through inbound calls, live chats, emails, and support portals.

  • Process service requests, maintain account information, and respond to customer queries.

  • Troubleshoot basic issues related to mobile phones and service connectivity.

  • Maintain communication with team members and share updates regarding issue status.

  • Follow service level agreements (SLA) and complete assigned tasks within defined timelines.

  • Manage customer support inboxes and respond to end-user requests promptly.

  • Utilize available resources and escalate complex issues when required.

  • Maintain professionalism and deliver excellent customer service with proper phone etiquette.

  • Understand the root cause of customer issues and resolve them efficiently to minimize repeat calls.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for this role should meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum High School Pass with excellent communication skills.

  • Diploma or graduate degree holders (BA, BCom, BSc – 12+3 years of education) are eligible.

  • Freshers or candidates with 0–6 months domestic BPO experience preferred.

  • Basic understanding of Android and iOS mobile phones is preferred.

  • Computer literacy and familiarity with basic office tools.


Skills Required

Candidates should possess the following skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple support requests

  • Knowledge of mobile devices (Android and iOS)

Working Conditions

  • Training and work location will be from the office in Mangalore.

  • Candidates should be ready to work in a 24x7 environment with rotational shifts.

  • Work shifts may fall between 6 PM and 6 AM (India time) as part of US shift schedules.

  • Work From Home may be provided only at the company’s discretion.

  • Candidates should have reliable internet connection at home for remote connectivity if required.

  • Candidates must maintain a professional environment for video meetings and training sessions.
