Detailed Responsibilities

As a SAP ILM Consultant, your core responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and supporting SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solutions.

  • Designing effective policies for data retention, archiving, and compliance across SAP systems.

  • Collaborating with SAP Security and GRC teams to ensure secure and compliant data access.

  • Integrating ILM with SAP modules like ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and third-party systems.

  • Performing SAP ILM configurations, rule setup, and data aging strategies.

  • Supporting audit requirements and ensuring data governance standards.

  • Troubleshooting ILM related issues and optimizing system performance.

  • Working with cross-functional teams to align ILM strategies with business needs.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.

  • Proven hands-on experience in SAP ILM implementation and support.

  • Strong understanding of SAP security, authorization, and compliance frameworks.

  • Experience with S/4HANA, ECC, BW, and SAP technical modules preferred.

  • Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams.
