About the Team
The DLS Case Management Team supports Amazon employees across the world. They are the single point of contact for employees applying for leave, disability benefits, or accommodations.
Their goal is to ensure smooth communication, empathetic support, and timely resolution for every case.
This role demands professionalism, empathy, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work in sensitive & confidential HR situations.
Detailed Responsibilities
Employee Case Ownership
Act as the single point of contact for employees during leave or disability events.
Initiate and respond to queries regarding leave types, benefits, options, and timelines.
Review medical documentation to assess eligibility for leave and ensure compliance with Amazon policies and laws.
Holistic Case Management
Build a case plan and adjust it based on changing employee needs.
Troubleshoot issues before, during, and after the leave event.
Resolve sensitive issues with tact, judgment, and empathy.
Return-to-Work & Documentation
Support employees returning from leave with transition and ramp-back planning.
Maintain accurate case documentation and system records.
Cross-functional Coordination
Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Legal, Safety, and external administrators.
Educate managers on employee needs and leave requirements.
Compliance & Best Practices
Ensure compliance with Amazon policies, federal/state regulations, and SOPs.
Identify problems, suggest improvements, and support process enhancements.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
Minimum 2 years experience in HR, customer service, case management, or related field.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Experience handling confidential employee information.
Strong communication (written & verbal).
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience with LOA, HR operations, or disability management.
Knowledge of Six Sigma, process improvement, or stakeholder management.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple cases.
Work Schedule
Work From Office (Hyderabad).
24×7 environment with rotational shifts.
5 working days, 2 consecutive rotational week-offs.
