🎯 Eligibility Criteria

📌 Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)

  • Minimum: 18 years

  • Maximum:

    • Steno & Tax Assistant – 27 years

    • MTS – 25 years

  • Relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST and as per government norms

📌 Educational Qualifications

Candidates must have one of the following as per the post:

  • Stenographer Grade-II: 12th Pass or equivalent

  • Tax Assistant: Graduate degree from a recognized university

  • Multi-Tasking Staff: Matriculation / 10th Pass or equivalent

💰 Salary / Pay Scale

The pay scales follow the 7th CPC pay matrix norms:

  • Stenographer Grade-II & Tax Assistant:
    Pay Level 4 – ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 per month 

  • Multi-Tasking Staff:
    Pay Level 1 – ₹18,000 to ₹56,900 per month 

These represent the minimum to maximum basic pay, excluding allowances.

🧾 Selection Process

Selection under sports quota is done on a merit basis, prioritizing sports achievements as prescribed by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) sports quota rules. Candidates must have certificates issued by authorized bodies as evidence of sports participation.

📝 Application Fee

  • ₹200 (Rupees Two Hundred only) – to be paid online

  • Fee exemptions as per government norms for reserved categories may apply
