Detailed Responsibilities
As a Developer at Cognizant, your key responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement scalable data processing solutions using Spark in Scala.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize data workflows using Databricks SQL and Workflows.
Administer Databricks Unity Catalog for data governance and security.
Automate data pipeline deployments using Databricks CLI.
Integrate and manage data storage on Amazon S3 and Redshift.
Write clean, efficient Python and PySpark code to process and analyse data.
Monitor and troubleshoot workflows to ensure uninterrupted data operations.
Ensure data quality through rigorous testing and validation.
Eligibility Criteria
Strong experience in Spark with Scala and Databricks technologies.
Hands-on familiarity with Amazon S3 and Redshift for data storage and analytics.
Proficiency in Python / PySpark for data engineering tasks.
Experience with Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and CLI.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
