Detailed Responsibilities
In this role as Associate – Finance and Accounting (Banking & Financial Services), your primary responsibilities will include:
Handling customer dispute cases across key finance and banking workflows — including researching and filing card disputes, reconciling card transactions, and investigating fraudulent activity.
Managing and challenging peer-to-peer dispute claims and responding to enquiries via email.
Applying general knowledge of banking operations, alternative payment channels, and dispute processing rules.
Investigating dispute claims to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks that govern disputed transactions.
Understanding and managing chargebacks and fraud notifications while working to protect financial assets and improve service delivery.
Collaborating with team members to escalate complex dispute cases as needed.
Using Salesforce Service Cloud or similar workflow systems to manage case files and communication.
Meeting established service level agreements and adhering to departmental quality standards.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
0 – 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, banking operations, or related financial services dispute management.
Strong attention to detail and ability to navigate financial systems and data screens.
Good analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to follow structured processes, meet deadlines, and manage time-sensitive tasks with minimal supervision.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, accuracy-driven operations environment.
Flexibility to work in varying schedules including rotational shifts.
Skills Required / Preferred Skills
Knowledge of banking operations, payment disputes, and chargebacks.
Experience using CRM or service case management tools (Salesforce Service Cloud).
