This is a fully female-founded Fashion-Tech startup on a mission to revolutionize online shopping. Their goal is to build a massive, high-quality image library of fashion items — each carefully annotated with details like category, color, fabric, and fit.
To achieve this, they’re building a team of detail-oriented individuals who can tag and segment fashion items in images with speed and accuracy.
💼 Role: Fashion Image Annotation Specialist
As an Image Annotation Specialist, you’ll review fashion images and identify key attributes for each item — such as:
- 👗 Category (e.g., top, skirt, coat)
- 🎨 Colour (e.g., dark blue vs royal blue)
- 🧵 Fabric & Material
- 🧩 Pattern, Fit, Silhouette
- 🏷️ Brand (if visible)
You’ll also mask (outline) each item using a simple visual tool provided in the AWS environment.
🧠 Key Skills Required
- Ability to follow visual and written guidelines (Taxonomy)
- Strong attention to detail
- Visual judgment to identify fashion attributes
- Comfort using basic digital tools (training provided)
- Willingness to learn and meet performance goals
No prior experience in fashion or annotation is required — just a keen eye and commitment to quality.
