About the Role:
The Transportation Representative at Amazon’s NOC is responsible for ensuring smooth transportation execution across Amazon’s supply chain network. This includes timely pick-up and delivery of freight from vendors to fulfillment centers and from fulfillment centers to carrier hubs. You will facilitate communication between various stakeholders like carriers, vendors, and Amazon’s internal teams to resolve any transportation issues that may impact customer experience.
This role involves working across two verticals:
✅ Inbound Operations – Managing vendor/carrier/fulfillment center relationships, ensuring timely freight pickup and delivery.
✅ Outbound Operations – Coordinating between fulfillment centers, carriers, and hubs to ensure customer orders are delivered on time.
Your primary responsibility will be to identify and resolve transportation issues efficiently while maintaining high communication standards.
Responsibilities:
✔ Communicate with external customers (Carriers, Vendors, Suppliers) and internal teams (Retail, Finance, Software Support, Fulfillment Centers).
✔ Escalate transportation-related issues and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
✔ Analyze network trends and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
✔ Monitor transportation execution and take real-time decisions to prevent delays.
✔ Work in a 24/7 environment with rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications:
✅ Bachelor’s degree (mandatory).
✅ 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
✅ Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
✅ Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
✅ Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
