About the Role

As a FinOps Analyst - Payroll, you will be responsible for ensuring that Amazon employees are paid accurately and on time while managing payroll processes, tax filings, and off-cycle payments. Your problem-solving and analytical skills will contribute to maintaining payroll efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Process employee payroll, including salary, tax, and statutory deductions using in-house and third-party platforms.
• Manage off-cycle pay runs and payments efficiently.
• Address employee queries related to payroll and provide timely responses.
• Conduct manual check calculations, process reversals, and ensure check distribution.
• Perform reporting, reconciliations, and tax filings, including start-of-year, end-of-year, and annual earning records.
• Collaborate with HR and support teams for seamless payroll operations.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce (B. Com).
• Advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in finance operations/shared services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general ledger.

Work Environment

• Work from Office: Starting 1st January 2025, you will be required to work from the office 5 days a week.
