About the Role
The Legal team at Revolut is pivotal in shaping our future by addressing complex legal challenges. As a Legal Counsel, you’ll navigate exciting opportunities and challenges in fintech, covering areas like compliance, regulatory updates, contract negotiations, and expansion into new markets.
This role involves working in a dynamic environment, providing legal advice, and managing diverse responsibilities, making it an excellent fit for someone who’s ready to define the future of finance.
Responsibilities
Draft, review, and advise on third-party, operations, and marketing agreements.
Negotiate a variety of commercial agreements with external counterparts.
Identify and advise on legal risks for new product developments.
Interpret regulatory changes and ensure compliance with guidelines.
Liaise with external counsel on new products, market expansions, and compliance issues.
Streamline processes for contract negotiations and develop standardized agreements.
Lead strategic deals and manage legal disputes or pre-litigation inquiries.
Conduct compliance reviews, filings, and develop policies and procedures.
Provide quick, well-reasoned legal advice on diverse inquiries.
Qualifications
4–7 years of PQE in financial services regulations, data privacy, contract negotiations, or employment/labor law.
Legal experience in India, with a solid grasp of Indian regulatory frameworks.
Expertise in financial services regulations and corporate governance.
Ability to handle complex contract negotiations and strategic legal matters.
Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance processes.
Proven ability to perform under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with fintech and evolving regulations in the Indian market.
Experience handling cross-border regulatory issues and legal frameworks.
Background in managing corporate compliance systems and tools.
