About the Role
The Finance team is at the heart of Revolut’s success. As a Group Credit Controller, you’ll be a key subject matter expert on credit-related topics, ensuring effective credit management and compliance with IFRS 9 standards. You will play a critical role in shaping and managing credit products and processes across multiple markets, while ensuring data integrity and financial transparency.
Responsibilities
Oversee accurate accounting, reconciliation, presentation, and disclosure of financial statement line items.
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and annual close processes, including audits.
Collaborate with Credit and Risk teams to ensure compliance with expected credit loss (ECL) models and IFRS 9 standards.
Support the launch and growth of credit products across different locations.
Identify and manage credit exposures in compliance with IFRS 9 and IFRS 7 guidelines.
Serve as the ECL model owner and a member of internal credit committees.
Establish and maintain robust internal controls (SOX) for credit and ECL processes.
Act as the main contact for external auditors regarding credit and ECL matters.
Qualifications
Qualified accountant or equivalent certification.
Expertise in IFRS 9 and expected credit losses (ECL), including accounting, data, models, and controls.
Experience managing credit products across retail and wholesale segments.
Proficiency in data analysis, especially with SQL.
Logical, structured problem-solving skills and exceptional analytical abilities.
Highly motivated with a results-driven approach.
Nice to Have
Experience in a fast-growing organization.
Familiarity with financial instruments such as derivatives, hedging, and financial guarantees.
