About the Role
The Acquiring department at Revolut is far from ordinary. This team designs, develops, and launches acquiring products across the globe. From inception to completion, they manage every aspect of our products, including back-end and front-end development, data science infrastructure, and scalable risk management solutions.
We’re looking for a Credit Analyst (Acquiring Portfolio) to oversee our portfolio of merchants. You’ll be responsible for monitoring alerts, identifying potential credit risks, and working with Data Analysts to uncover patterns and mitigate risks. This role involves using data-driven insights and risk management frameworks to safeguard our acquiring portfolio.

What You’ll Be Doing
Developing portfolio assessments to evaluate risks and vulnerabilities in the acquiring portfolio.
Analyzing data to uncover broader credit risk patterns.
Monitoring market risk and identifying potential threats or irregular activities, then translating these into actionable credit risk indicators.
Anticipating external risks and factors affecting merchant operations.
Reviewing acquiring alerts to promptly identify and address risks.
Raising credit event cases to relevant stakeholders in the Acquiring team.
Participating in scoping new credit controls and internal portfolio risk management policies.
Collaborating with local product teams to address and stop industry-specific fraud.
Assessing new regulatory policies and analyzing their impact on acquiring market risk exposures.
What You’ll Need
1–2 years of experience as a portfolio analyst or credit risk analyst, ideally connected to acquiring.
Deep knowledge of acquiring credit-related investigative processes.
Proven experience contributing to the scoping of risk controls.
A highly analytical mindset paired with exceptional problem-solving skills.
A strong drive to identify opportunities for improvement and implement automation wherever possible.
Nice to Have
Solid understanding of acquiring products and industry best practices.
Experience communicating effectively with customers on sensitive topics like fraud claims.
A clear, concise, and structured communication style with the ability
