Amazon is seeking a Transportation Representative in Hyderabad to join the Network Operations Center (NOC) team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth functioning of Amazon’s transportation network, directly impacting the company's ability to deliver customer orders on time.
About the Role
The Transportation Representative will work in both Inbound and Outbound Operations, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries of freight from vendors to Amazon fulfillment centers (FC) and from FCs to customer premises. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to make quick, data-driven decisions to resolve issues that may affect the customer experience.
Responsibilities
The Transportation Representative will be responsible for:
Facilitating communication between external customers (Carriers, Vendors, Suppliers) and internal stakeholders (Retail, Finance, Fulfillment Centers, etc.).
Escalating issues or variances in data and working with the relevant teams to resolve them.
Identifying and driving process improvements to streamline operations.
Providing real-time customer experience in a 24/7 operating environment.
Creating narratives outlining weekly findings, variances to goals, and presenting these findings in review forums.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
12-24 months of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with logical and analytical skills.
Ability to facilitate the flow of information between various teams.
