About the Role

The LOA Case Manager will be a single point of contact for employees managing leave of absence, disability, and related events. You will provide holistic case management services, ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations, company policies, and employee needs.





Key Responsibilities

Respond to inquiries about leave and disability events, benefits, and options.

Manage assigned employee cases (150–200 cases), including medical documentation review and adjudication.

Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, leave plans, and company policies.

Use tools and resources to oversee leave events and adjust management plans as needed.

Troubleshoot issues and address sensitive situations during leave events.

Facilitate smooth returns to work and ramp-back plans for employees.

Educate managers and stakeholders on employee concerns during and post-leave.

Maintain system records with accurate and timely documentation.

Partner with third-party administrators, HR, Safety, Legal, Payroll, and other departments.

Provide regular updates to employees and stakeholders.







Basic Qualifications

1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

6+ months of experience as a DLS Case Manager supporting US Pregnancy and Parental Leaves or US Workers’ Compensation Leaves.

1+ year of experience in Human Resources or customer service in a leave/disability field.




Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in leave/disability claim management roles.

Knowledge of ADA/ADAAA, FMLA, and other federal/state leave regulations.

Certifications like SPHR, PHR, or CPDM.

Experience managing confidential information and working with global service teams.

Strong problem-solving, time management, and prioritization skills.
