About the Role

The Senior FinOps Analyst - AR at Amazon will be responsible for managing cash applications, reconciling payments, reducing un-applied cash receipts, and ensuring timely and accurate payment processing. This role also requires extensive research on missing, unidentified, or rejected funds and collaboration with internal departments to achieve seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

Posting payments from lockbox, ACH, and wire transfer to customer accounts.

Reconciling payments and reducing un-applied cash receipts on aged accounts receivable.

Communicating cash adjustments to stakeholders.

Researching and resolving missing or unidentified payments.

Analyzing reports and reconciling large datasets.

Collaborating with internal departments to apply payments efficiently.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or commerce (B. Com).

Advanced knowledge of Excel.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and applications.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience in finance operations, shared services, accounts payable/receivable, or general ledger roles.
