Your Role at Pega
As an Application Engineer, you will contribute to creating world-class CRM applications. Your responsibilities include:
Designing, developing, and implementing high-quality application software using Pega Platform and CRM applications.
Building common infrastructure, integrations, and data models for enterprise applications.
Collaborating in an Agile SCRUM environment with cross-functional teams.
Troubleshooting, debugging, and providing technical guidance to resolve customer issues.
Creating and executing unit tests for developed software.
Proactively suggesting product and process improvements.
Partnering with internal stakeholders, such as Product Managers, to deliver innovative solutions.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.
Experience with APIs, Pega PRPC, Java, J2EE, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Oracle, DB2, and MS SQL.
Practical knowledge of data structures, query optimization, and building SQL queries.
Experience:
Previous development experience with CRM applications (certification is a plus).
Agile/SCRUM work environment experience.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong presentation abilities and a passion for learning new technologies.
Capability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
