Amazon India is seeking dedicated, hardworking, and analytical candidates to join the Transaction Risk Management Team in Bangalore. As an Investigation Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of Amazon's online marketplace.
About the Role:
As an Investigation Specialist, you will be responsible for investigating and eliminating online ecommerce risks. The ideal candidate will have experience in the ecommerce payments space, trust and safety, and thrive in a customer-driven workplace. You will need to demonstrate excellent judgment and problem-solving skills to authenticate customers and complex transactions independently, with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate a wide range of duties related to online ecommerce risks.
- Make independent decisions with little to no guidance, ensuring high accuracy.
- Engage in frequent written and verbal communication with department management, risk analysts, risk engineers, company associates, third-parties, and occasionally customers by phone.
- Contribute to productivity and quality assurance evaluations and overall department development.
Basic Qualifications:
- Excellent written and spoken English skills with the ability to compose grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written responses.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate complex transactional issues clearly to both internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze problems logically, and make complex investigation decisions.
- Self-disciplined, diligent, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Flexibility to work varying schedules/shifts, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
